Installation Guide for RV Door Series

In this episode, I will take you to understand the installation method of the RV door together.

In terms of installation, there are many areas where American doors and Australian doors can communicate with each other. In this issue, we will take American doors as an example to introduce the installation methods of American doors and Australian doors.

Before installing the door, we need to apply sealant around the installation holes of the RV door. From the outside of the car to the opening position of the RV, we need to pay attention to the surrounding area, which must be flat and sealed with adhesive. Just like in the picture;

Next, we need to use screws with a length of 20mm or more to drill through the two holes reserved on each hinge of the door frame, fix the door leaf and door frame together on the skeleton, drill holes around the door frame and fix them with screws, adjust the spacing around the door, and lock the screws; Just like the second picture.

Step three, we need to evenly apply a circle of glass glue to the gap between the outer door and the skeleton to seal and waterproof it. Just like the third picture.

The final step is to use decorative pressure strips inside the car to press the inner edge of the door frame, as shown in the fourth picture.

In addition to the installation method we mentioned above, there is another type of wide edge door with a slightly different installation method. The screw position in the second step we just talked about is different. The installation position of the wide edge door is on the installation surface, which is the position indicated in the video. After installing all the screws, we can tighten the decorative adhesive strip at this position. This will not affect the aesthetics of the RV.

In addition to American and Australian style doors, the installation methods of European style doors are also

different.

Firstly, we apply a circle of sealant under the edge of the European style door, as shown in the red area in the picture, Install the European style door into the opening position of the RV, ensuring that the installation is smooth and the

surrounding gaps are even;

The second step is to insert self tapping screws into the reserved hole in the middle of the hinge to connect the

skeleton

and strengthen the installation, as shown in the second picture. The frame around the door can also be punched

in the

thickness direction as needed, and self tapping screws can be inserted to connect the skeleton and strengthen the

installation.

The third step is to adjust the stable components on the back of the lock bolt installation according to the wall

thickness,

adjust the screws to fit the inner wall surface,

and then tighten and fix them. If necessary, screws can be used to connect and fix it to the wall. As shown in the

of the third picture.

Step four, we need to install the screen door. Buckle the screen door onto the door frame from the inside,

and attach the lower end to the floor. Adjust the gap left and right until it is evenly aligned with the wall.

Use self tapping screws to drive into the reserved holes on the edge of the screen door frame and connect it to

the wall for fixation. The lower guide rail aluminum can be fixed on the floor according to the situation, and the

screen door can be pushed and pulled smoothly. Just like the fourth picture.
