Without further ado, let's directly enter the theme of this video - the selection and installation of RV steps.

When it comes to RV treads, many friends have seen them on RVs, manual models, electric models, and so on. There are still quite a few styles, so how to choose has become the top priority. In this issue, the editor will talk to everyone.

Firstly, the first type must be the manual folding RV step, which is relatively affordable and easy to use. Everyone, the pedals are basically made of aluminum, ensuring the overall lightness of the steps. The black strip on the pedal is the anti slip design of the pedal, and the raised part here not only serves as the anti slip design of the step, but also enhances the strength of the pedal.

I still recommend using high-strength carbon steel for the structural components of the steps, as this is the load-bearing part and aluminum alloy cannot meet the requirements here. Carbon steel has high strength and hardness, making it suitable for applications that can withstand heavy loads and pressures, such as mechanical parts, car wheels, and rails. It is very practical to use in this position. At the same time, carbon steel has a high surface hardness, which can effectively resist friction and wear, making it completely suitable for our daily use;

Of course, the most important thing is the spring. The spring should not be too thick, as it is very difficult to open and too thin is not durable. So this is very important.

The second type is the electric folding RV steps. In addition to the points we discussed about the manual version, the most important components of the electric steps are the motor and control system. Dual motors have always been recommended by me because they are more stable and the failure rate of a single motor is relatively higher. The one I currently have in my hand is an induction based on opening and closing, and in addition to this, there is also a button to turn it on. Everyone can choose according to their own preferences;

The third type is the flat push step, which is generally used for recreational vehicles and RVs. The pedal of the flat push step is the same as that of the folding RV step, so I won't repeat it. The structural components are still the same as the folding RV steps, made of high-strength carbon steel YYDS. There are some small differences between the installation and folding of RV steps, and you can adjust them slightly according to different installation heights.

Next is the issue regarding installation, which is also something many friends are not clear about. This time we will provide a more detailed explanation.

Firstly, there are foldable RV steps, and the manual version is very simple. Just select four screw holes on each side and front and rear for installation. The installation of electric models is somewhat complicated. My friends, bookmark it and find it more conveniently.

Firstly, there will be a power cord extending from the steps of the electric RV, and we need to connect this power cord to a multi-functional long cord that comes with our package. Connect the circular holes on both sides and fix them. Next comes the controller part, which is connected to the white connector of the multifunctional long line. Finally, there are the positive and negative power lines in the multifunctional long line. Connect the positive and negative poles in the picture to the onboard power supply in the car. If the power cord of this is not long enough, you can add wires to extend it yourself. The wiring connection method for the electric push step is also the same as this method.
